Appreciate China’s provincial delights during a full-day tour of two charming traditional towns from Shanghai. With an accomplished guide, the ancient gate in Suzhou and boat ride in Zhouzhuang, the most famous water village in China.
You will experience two picturesque towns, each unique in its splendor they reveal. Suzhou is one of the oldest towns in the Yangtze basin with its interconnected waterways and beautiful gardens, was once referred as "The Venice of the East." You will visit the Master of Nets Garden, a representative work of Suzhou classical gardens; Panmen, the ancient city gate of Suzhou and the Grand Canal. To visit the Silk Factory to see closely cocoon selecting, silk reeling, silk weaving. After lunch travel to Zhouzhuang, the most famous water village with a history of 900 years. The majority of the residences were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and nearly 100 classic courtyards and 60 carved-brick archways are still in use. Walk onto the Double Bridges, the symbol of Zhouzhuang before returning back to Shanghai.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the departure time. The morning departure is at 08:30am while the afternoon departure is at 1:30 pm. 


In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, government traffic control, big events, attractions closed by accident and other specific circumstances, Gray Line Shanghai owns the right to make the temporary adjustment of the itinerary.


Unless tickets and bookings through the 3rd party (Channel) who has specific requirements and restrictions, Gray Line Shanghai’s cancelation policy: 

Cancelation before 24 hours of the activity date, full refund will be provided. 

Cancelation within 24 hours of the activity date, including No Show, none refund.
